Jeff’s Diary: B U R G E R S with my Bro

Hello 🙂 Jeff here from Matoi Hostel and Bar. It was really pouring down this past weekend and I didn’t feel like doing anything at all. I wanted to find somewhere cozy and eat some foods that reminded me of home. I picked this little burger joint in Takasaki called Linda. I went there with my best bro Odai (one of our staff here at Matoi) and we talked while enjoying the rain and cozy atmosphere. This kind of vibe reminded me of the times when I used to live in Ehime. I used to make burgers from scratch with a fellow ALT almost every Friday. We came up with some interesting burger recipes together during our time as English teachers. I hope that I can find some nice ingredients and make some nice burgers worth serving at Matoi someday. B U R G E R S.
