Super local market at Lake Narusawa

Hi all, June here.

 

Today me and Wada, our new staff member, led a guest tour to the market at nearby Lake Narusawa. There were food trucks, local produce, vendors selling crafts and homemade dog treats. It was quite a mix! The whole town seemed to have come out for the market, and happy kids were running around every corner.

 

I had some delicious coffee kakigoori (shaved ice), and bought a jar of all-natural local blueberry jam. It was nice and cool by the lake, and there was a lookout tower too. It was a great way to spend the morning. I hope we can lead guests there next year too!
